Planting Perennials for Successive Blooming with John Chapin
John Chapin lives in Danville, IN and was an elementary teacher for 36 years and also ran a landscaping company for 38 years, overlapping his teaching career for 20 years.
He started Tree Frog Gardens as his “retirement” business seven years ago – growing and selling unusual or hard-to-find plants including many native perennials, shrubs, and trees. He also sells plants at many area spring garden fairs. He’s on Facebook (Tree Frog Gardens) and maintains an email list for gardeners who like to read his plant profiles and general gardening information, but are not on Facebook. He has retired from landscaping now except for consultations and designs.
